Difficulty changes


After receiving feedback on The 20 Game Challenge's Discord, I made some modifications to the game's difficulty.

The new difficulty thresholds and their corresponding effects are as follows:


  1. Score > 20:
    • Difficulty set to 2 (higher amplitude regarding where the hole can appear)
    • FlappyThingy is burdened by its life choices, making it more challenging for it to fly

  2. Score > 30:
    • FlappyThingy faces increased difficulty in flying due to fatigue

  3. Score > 40:
    • FlappyThingy's flying ability is further hindered by its past actions
    • Giant thingies might appear, introducing an additional challenge

  4. Score > 80:
    • Difficulty set to 3 (higher amplitude regarding where the hole can appear)
    • The game is intentionally designed to be more challenging, providing a demanding experience for player. Joking, it's not fair anymore
